This video was created for the 2010 25@25 Contest that celebrated the Foundation's 25th Anniversary by asking young Canadians what they think matters most for Canada's future with Asia.

Fabien Nervais and his friends are re-framing Canada’s future role in Asia through the concept of knowledge diplomacy. Looking at Canada’s current engagement with Asia in numbers, they argue for combining the skills acquired through education and experience with diplomacy as an intermediation mechanism to peacefully solve issues and address common topics of interest between countries.. Such kinds of dialogue offer an opportunity for Canada to help and engage with Asian nations. For example, knowledge diplomacy can help Canada address future energy challenges, promote educational collaborations, and realize our Asian heritage here in Canada.
