The only thing I would add is better explanation of Fetch/Push Details Page and refs/xxx symbols. Also, it would probably be better to show egit/git on a repository that is not for egit itself as it can make viewers confused. I can see how this can promote developer contributions to egit so I understand your motivations.
Overall I found it very useful.
Thanks! The goal here was to show EGit's state of play, rather than a tutorial of how to configure/checkout code and how you'd do with it. Maybe that's a plan for the future.
