In this timelapse we find out what 3 fish and a shrimp get up to late at night. Its about 4 hours in 4 minutes. The entire workflow is new ( to me at least ): It was shot using a Fuji S100fs + a modifed RR-80 ( *** see below ). SBG was used to crop and sharpen and renumber the JPGs. SUPER used to take the renumbered JPG series and convert directly to MP4. The MP4 looks really nice ON my computer - so I'm eager to see how it looks post vimeoification.
Flicker is actually very well controlled - however there are some points where either one of the light bulbs appears to be flickering OR headlights of cars driving by messed with the shot. Perhaps its only distracting to me.
The cast of characters: The Fish: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner ( my kids named them ) and Shrimpy. Shrimpy's full name is Shrimplingtons J. McRustacean, a bamboo shrimp (Atyopsis moluccensis).
Shrimpy, is by far, the most boring, and yet beloved member of the tank. At the tail end of the video we catch the fish sleeping in the back corner of the tank. He just molted recently, so is sporting a nice new exoskeleton.
*** About the S100fs intervalometer. There isn't one. So I modified my RR-80 remote release into a simple IR release and used my existing GentLEDS AUTO ( made for my HV-20 ) to trigger the shutter. The details are here:

This modification is pretty rough. Its more of a proof of concept to encourage the GentLEDS guys to make a USB tethered intervalometer for the S100fs.
