Visual Effects test using Blender 3D and After Effects. I wanted to work on incorporating 2D and 3D elements onto the same motion-tracked background plate. In addition to using matted stock footage to create the bullet hit effects, I also mixed in blender's particle system to try and give a little substance to the dirt.
