    the shot at 0.46 is stunning. The slow mo also looks really smooth. How much did you slow it down?

    Thanks much, this shot was slowed at 60frames overcranked in 720p.

    Which DOF adapter are you using? Would you reccomend the EX1?

    no DOF adaptor on this one. We do have the letus extreme adaptor, but we didn't use it for this vid. I would recommend the ex1 over and over. it really is an awesome camera for the price!

    Unbeleivable. The dog at 0.31 in particular really looks like a DOF adapter was used.

    Did you manage to get that shallow depth of field by zooming in all the way or does the EX1 just give you that kind of look? If so I'm selling my Brevis.

    Is the EX1 easy to use or is it a pain?

    the dog shot is about half zoom. remember the ex1 does have a 1/2" chip giving a slight depth of field. I find it very easy to use even compared to other cameras I use. don't sell your brevis, the DOF adaptors still rock in my book! just depends what style your shooting for.

    I'll probably keep the Brevis if I can afford to. I just like how crisp and sharp all your shots look but they still have that slight shallow DOF which I really like.

    Not sure if the Brevis is compatible with the EX1 but i'l check it out. Thanks for your advice.

    Hi Philip,

    Thanks for the tip. As a newbie I'm not sure what a diffuser does and where it would go in the Brevis chain of parts. Could you give more info for the uninitiated?

    Very nice work.

    So I'm seeing that you're recommending the EX1 over and over again. Have you ever used the EX3? Have you heard anything comparing the 2 models?

    Also, what program do you use to colour correct?

    I shoot for FOX in DC.
    I really enjoyed the piece.
    Simplistically brilliant!
    I wanted to see the shot of the kids just a tad longer :)
    I'm torn between the ex1/3 or the HPX300
    I think I just made up my mind.
    Keep up the good work.
