Trees die standing - English version with rastAsia
3 months ago
Special thanks to rastAsia who helped me out here to open my Dutch spoken video to the Vimeo community: great English translation of the original difficult dutch script, he also recorded his own voice, wich fits very well to the original idea of the video.
Original Dutch version: vimeo.com/1112318
Much better than subtitles in this case.
Oh yes, I love that little tree :)
A moment of poetry.
I didn't upgrade to HD from SD to keep full quality of the visuals.

A good audiophonic voice is very impotant :)
Just got to have clear and audible pronunciation if its for the masses.
Mine is of no comparison to the original voice. I enjoyed the creative interaction.
Props to those who enjoy this version too. Thx Brian.
And thanks to Vimeo for making this kinda exchange/interaction possible.
Jan, I think you wouldn't even dare to touch my little tree with your little finger :)
Simply breathtaking.
It took a while to settle the thing down, but as in any other project it's not just point shoot and show. A video must take the time to grow, just like my little tree :)
A very good voice from rastAsia..
Inspirational !
I was merely shadowing the way....
The narration by rastAsia was hauntingly beautiful.
Wonderful vid guys, Nice Job:)
Glad you liked it.
We'll try to do better next time...
Look after that Tree Mate! :)))))
Oh the voice-over worked really well. I loved it! Thanks for sharing it with me :)
And yes, the mosquitoes wasn't an easy one: took a long time to get the focus right :)
