In this patriotic and sentimental film, international award winning Writer/Director Kevin P. Miller (GENERATION RX, WE BECOME SILENT) exposes how Canadians are being stripped of their personal sovereignty by government agencies — and how free trade deals and other international agreements imperil Canadian democracy.

Quietly, over a period of many years, unconstitutional legislation encompassed in Bills C-51, C-6, and the current Bill C-36 have placed not only basic civil liberties and freedoms at risk, but Canada's national sovereignty as well. The film shares how entangling alliances with groups like the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization, Codex Alimentarius, the United States and even multinational corporate interests have become so powerful that they literally threaten to make elected officials in Parliament irrelevant.

A QUESTION OF SOVEREIGNTY discusses why this dramatic shift in the balance of power puts the nation and its people at a vital crossroad early in the 21st century — and why some of the past giants of Canadian politics may hold the answers to Canada's future.

Excellent film...informative, fascinating, and necessary. One can infer from this story how Fascism is incrementally taking hold in North America. Not the popular opinion of racist Fascism, rather this is the more accurate view of Fascism---the marriage of super large corporations to the State, along with the militarization of the police. Canadians beware of what could be next: paramilitary private forces. We in the U.S. already have private, militarized "police" forces being hired by governmental entities for use on the streets of America, e.g., a company known as American Private Police Force. Then, too, the true tales of rampant Cronyism involving various industries (Big Pharma, Big Oil, etc.) and the U.S. Government are legendary. Suffice it to say that real Fascism is alive and well on this continent...and the populace is largely asleep at the wheel.

Anyway, Kevin, your film is an absolutely superb wake-up call. Thank you.

People need to be educated about this but you won't hear any of this from the main-stream media because they are in their sponsor's pocket. Thank you Kevin for caring enough to make this video. This is a great film very informative. I knew about some of this but not to what extent. There was an incedent here in my home town where a company was shut down that was making differnt herb combos. There didn't seem to be much of a reason at the time. Now I know the real reason.
But I think that we need to have a plan other than letting people know about this. Is there anything we can do about this?

With apologies to Maureen Driedger, your post was far too long for this space, though I will add your MAIN points below.

Within a few weeks, we will have "Action Links" online at the film's website:

    There we will feature

Here is a condensed version of Maureen's comments:

    "Maureen Driedger

Write your MPs. This is Codex alimentarius.

    .parl.gc.ca/content/hoc/Bills/403/Government/C-36/C-36_1/C-36_1.PDF

On June 9, 2010, Bill C-36 was introduced for first reading in the House of Commons. A copy of the Bill can be found at:

Bill C-36 is almost identical to Bill C-52 which had been introduced into the 39th Parliament on April 8, 2008, and to Bill C-6 which had been introduced into the 40th Parliament on January 29, 2009."

    Thank you, Jean-Pierre:

We would all do well to align with the Council of Canadians in their campaign against the Canada-European Trade Agreement (CETA). Hopefully they will help us defeat Bill C-36 as well!

Thanks Kevin for the hard work that I know you put into this and in other areas for Canada's sovereignty. You are a true Canadian patriot.

I awoke to this "Nightmare to Democracy / Sovereignty" when Bill C-6 came in. I've been sounding the alarm to friends and family since then. Not much of a response until I pointed out how C-36 related to them personally. This motivated most of them.

    (1) For my Community: I am printing a few hundred Newletters / Brochures to deliver personally to businesses. Soon, posters will be going up.
    (2) For, about 500, Friends & Family: Newsletter & DVD(s) with additional info on Vaccines, etc. Friends / Family who are comp geeks will help copy & distribute to all. All DVD's are burned to play on both Computers & Home Stereo Systems.

Folks, please, let's not forget. The top three political parties are fast-tracking this through. So, we have to get on all of their cases & send out emails & letters. Hand-written letters are better because 1 hand-written letter counts as 100 typed letters or email.

Everybody, we have a choice now to either democratically and peacefully do what we can to stop Bill C-36 before it gets passed into law. Or, we can wait till it gets passed and lose all our rights for a long long time & possibly forever.

So, let's go people! Let our voice be heard from Coast-to-Coast.

Thank you Kevin for such an informative film. CANADIANS need to make a stand NOW and be as concerned as our neighbors to the South are. Please educate yourselves about the dangers of such a Bill, I believe it to be a small piece of what our Governments are trying to do!
See you at the Health Freedom Rally on Sept 14th in Langley!!!!

Very concerning. Canadians still agree to give up their freedoms and spend millions/billions of dollars on giving bureaucrats control over our rights time after time. We just recently defeated the proposed end to the long gun registry. This is another example of bureaucrats making law abiding citizens criminals at the stroke of a pen. When will we learn to say NO?

"...Canada finally became a fully sovereign nation"

How can this be when the head of state, the executive, is a foreign power? This is clearly evident because the Prime Minister has to ASK PERMISSION to dissolve or prorogue parliament from the "queen's representative".
