This video documents my experiences at the Australian Synchrotron and attempts to understand it through the undertaking of a series of audio and visual 'beam interference' experiments, which had some unpredictable and unexpected outcomes. Embedded within the documentary footage are some of the outcomes of the experiments put together in a way that 'feels' like what's going on in the accelerator (as opposed to a scientific / mathematical analysis of the data gathered). The final audiovisual composition is a montage / distillation of all my research outputs from the residency.
