Christopher Bauder started working in the field of interactive installation art and design after finishing his studies in the Digital Class at the Berlin University of the Arts. His projects focus on the translation of bits and bytes into objects and environments and vice versa. Space, object, sound and interaction are the key elements of his work. In 2004, he founded WHITEvoid interactive art & design as a necessity to realize his ideas. WHITEvoid creates interactive installations and products for museums, exhibitions and trade fairs, festivals, concerts and clubs. The studio is comprised of specialists in interaction design, media design, product design, interior architecture and electronic engineering. As the Creative Director, Christopher Bauder has brought installations and performances to events and spaces like the Centre Pompidou in Paris, MUTEK Festival in Montreal and the National Museum of Fine Arts in Taiwan. His projects have received worldwide recognition and have won several awards including the reddot design award, iF communication design award and the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany. Christopher Bauder lives and works in Berlin.
