These trout in a local popular tail water are tuned in to eat.
They're following me as I walk and eating all the insects that I'm kicking off the rocks on the bottom. These are wild trout, not farmed fish. It's amazing to be casting to elusive wild trout that are very skiddish and require a lot of stealth as well as perfect fly presentation for them to even consider eating your fly, and then you turn around and you see half a dozen fish 16 to 20+ inches nipping your heels.
