Never seen it actually - we opted not to buy a TV license this year because TV is 98% bollocks. I think it was a great decision actually, I don't miss it at all really. Is that the series about a detective who thinks he's from the future or something?
Manchester police detective gets hit by a car and wakes up in 1973. We don't know if he's actually traveled back in time, is in a coma and imagining all this or he's a real cop in 1973 who's insane and thinks he from the future.
Probably one of the best-written, best-acted shows I've seen in years. Ordered the first series DVD from amazon uk.
I had no idea you guys still had to pay for television.
Yeah, it's pretty stupid really - it's just for the BBC channels as the rest have adverts on them. A few days ago Channel 4 launched their live TV web streaming service, and 4 On Demand where you can watch a load of programmes online whenever you want, although both options are only available to PC users at the moment. It's pretty exciting though, looks like they're embracing the shift to the web, let's hope that the BBC follows suit!
I am constantly amazed by how much more we are living in the future as each day goes by. We just need to meet some aliens, and then I'll be designing a sweet uniform for my impending space adventures. It will have a bum flap like old school pyjamas so I can fart comfortably.
yOu guys always have so much fun together!
