A walk around the Dinorwig slate quarry, North Wales The quarry closed in the mid 1960. It was the second largest slate quarry in the world (nearby Penrhyn being the largest, and still working). Roofing slates were shipped all over Britain, Europe and North America .
It is a paradise of image. The old jackets and boots haven’t moved far since time was called.
Will probably do a few more shorts from here.
