My only one comment would be that at 0'46 the shot of the caravan to me seems out of place compared to the rest of the film. You have so many beautifully composed shots of a marine theme that one of a caravan just distracts things for me.
TRONd you make a good point about the abundance of
selective focus. All I can say is that ever since I started using this camera I have been addicted to this kind of depth of field... that might very well show in the final result...
JON you are probably right about that shot of the Caravan.. the main reason why I included it is because it is in fact the office where people go to rent boats and spaces... The sign is in Italian so it was probably rather silly of me to include that... I'm glad you enjoyed the video anyhow !!
Thanks again !!!
The Glidetrack is such a good tool that I wonder if it is in danger of being overused! (I love mine!).
I felt this fine little film could have done with a 'focus pull' from foreground to background in some of the shots.
I have made a focus pull device out of an old BICYCLE TROUSER CLIP a 2 inch thin bolt and a miniature Billiard ball which acts as the handle. It clips instantly over any large lens barrel and will pull smoothly in either direction.
(Cost £1.) Cheaper than the Zacuto cog rings!
The British Trouser Bicycle clip is a "horseshoe shape" rubber coated spring.
Through the back of the "U" I drill a hole. Then I insert and fix a two and a half inch bolt.
On the end of the bolt I fasten a small POOL BALL (from a key ring!) which only acts as a smooth handle.
I now have fitted small rubber 'O' rings to the bicycle clip which engage in the rubber ribs of the lens barrel.
I hope this helps!
I'm really curious about your DIY follow focus device... it sounds interesting... You should make a video to demonstrate how it's made... I'd love to see that...
Memories :-)

My favorite shots are w/o any hesitation minutes 00.10 and 00.37; but the most amazing thing is the no color correction. Beautiful work, if I may criticize one thing, I would have added a little more DOF to some of your shots. Thanks for sharing, Felipe
i think the French word. thanks.
with my heart.
Drying my teary eyes.
I salute you, sir! :-)
I'm glad you felt good about it !!!
It's the way I usually feel when I watch most of these great videos on Vimeo!
It's nice to see someone who treats their kit with respect, rather than merely show it off with galloping slides and zooms.
Your scenes, frames, edit and insight are for me faultless.
Welcome to Vimeo Ezaram, I look forward to your next share.
Regards
John.
Very encouraging!
All the best to you!
They are slow tracks with the Glidetrack.
Where did you take that video?
Great presentation of a very beautiful scenery. Lovely morning colours. Maybe you could have intercut some more wide angle takes with deeper dof (I know, I know, you cannot resist the shallow depth of field that longer focal lengths and wider apertures offer on this camera - same for me...).
The glidetrack is always a joy to use and to watch :-)
Thanks for sharing and waiting for more.
fantastic camera movements. thanks for sharing
Stunning piece of work and love your choice of music :)))
BRAVO!...... ENCORE!!
Beautiful
WELL DONE!!!!
