This video was shot in Man Mo Temple in Sheung Wan Hong Kong. It is Hong Kong's largest temple and acts as an oasis and refuge away from the hyperactive city which is bursting at the seems just outside the door. Locals visit it on their way to work, tourists visit it on their way by and I visited and digested its ritual beauty as passing "in my eyes" with my new Nikon D90.
"A Man Mo Temple or Man Mo Miu (traditional Chinese: 文武廟) is a temple for the worship of the civil or literature god Man Tai (文帝) / Man Cheong （文昌） and the martial god Mo Tai (武帝) / Kwan Tai (關帝). The two gods were popularly patronized by scholars and students seeking progress in their study or ranking in the civil examinations in the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are several Man Mo Temples in Hong Kong." wikipedia.
Music used is "Hearing Damage" Thom York from Twilight New Moon Soundtrack. I chose this because of the line used "in my eyes". It captures both the tranquil yet anxious tenancies Hong Kong city emits.
