the leaves make this so surreal. very beautiful, Henning.

The blowing leaves were magic. After enjoying the moment, I'm now thinking, "How can I reproduce that effect in a similar shot?" Come fall, I'm taking the leaf blower to the woods!

Did you use a tricopter with gopro hd? :)

    Looks wonderful.
  • Ian Stutz 1 year ago
Seems to me that you would need something with more fps to make it soo smooth in slo-mo. GoPro hd at 1080p is limited to 30fps. He did say he used a rc copter though.

judging by your current profile photo, were you parasailing?....no.....um, nope, no idea how you got these shots.

maybe they're all crane shots, the longest shots are slowmo with crane?....cough it up....

this is awesome! well done dude, you captured it for me.
  •
  • Gerwin Koudijs 1 year ago
Very smooth. I guess it's made with a small helicopter, because the leaves are flying everywhere.

I wonder if there's any stabilization or slowmo filter used? The music also helps!
  •
  • Henning Sandström plus 1 year ago
    Thanks!
It's filmed with a remote controlled helicopter.

I did'nt use any polarizing filter. It's just 3-way color correction in FCP

I am currently working a rig for the V.2 Raptor 50 to hold the 7D. I also will be converting a V.1 Raptor to electric for the same purpose.

You are brave man flying in some of those shots. I have been flying RC Heli for years and I am not sure I would have had the set to fly through some of the tighter spaces. :)

I would love to see your platform if you are willing to share.

    Very nice work.
