Hi Brian, I am using the stock lens on the HV-20. I am not trying to mislead anyone, I use a mini tripod to get it to look good. Do you have any suggestions for a macro lens? I can't seem to find any that fit the HV-20, or I haven't looked enough.

thought i might also add, if you were talking about the part where it zoomed in really close, that was actually Vegas, there is a utility to zoom in on live video. You probably alredy knew that though.

Ive been thinking about getting a Raynox DCR-150 or 250 Macro lens. But I wanna do a bit more research first. Did you have digital zoom enabled? I cant seen to get that close to the moon with stock lens. but my digital zoonm is disabled

yes, that's it I have the digital zoom on, otherwise it wouldn't go so close. I also have a 2000mm Bausch & Lomb lens, if I can find an adapter I'm sure I can get some nasa like videos/photos with it. It's actually so good, I saw the rings on Saturn a few years ago when it was most visible.

that sounds like an insane lens!
