For our most recent pro bono project, Neoscape teamed with Cambridge architect William O’Brien to create a short film that showcased his design for the 2010 MoMA/P.S. 1 Young Architects Program. Now in its eleventh year, this competition provides emerging architects with the opportunity to design new and inventive projects. As one of five finalists, O’Brien presented his innovative design for a temporary urban structure to be located in the P.S. 1 courtyard. Competition organizers requested that the designs “incorporate elements of shade, water, seating, and bar areas…within the allotted project budget of $85,000.” The five finalists' proposed projects will be on exhibit at MoMA this summer.
