I don't blame the guy. She obviously had a lot of baggage. YES, you did get that across, and perfectly. She reminds me of my ex-fiance'. I really loved that girl, but she couldn't love me back the way I needed.

i love the lighting, or perhaps lack thereof, throughout the piece. it's very mysterious, and even slightly scary, but still seductive and sexy.

hey, great work! lighting and composition was extraordinary. if i may make one suggestion ... at the risk of sounding uncool or perhaps (gasp) unprofessional, a nsfw or explicit tag would have been wonderful for a piece like this (does vimeo have a community regulated feature for this besides flagging?). again, great work as usual but a bit embarrassing opposite my co-workers.

Damn fine film! Amazing.

My god... the soundscape in this film is the most erotic and intimate thing I have ever heard - in the beginning I just wanted to close my eyes and listen to their breathing and whispering for hours... but the lighting and camera work is amazing as well.
The only thing that disturbes the overall aesthetics a little is the focus shift at 2:27 - though when I think about it, that's probably a good thing regarding the storyline at that point.

Mac you are God. I worship you and your shooting. You are perhaps the best DP of digital I have ever seen and the one who can really start to convince that digital, when shot well and graded properly, can look just as good or perhaps better than 35mm.

You have a great sense of filmmaking. The colors and the DOP gives the film a correct environment.

1st, nice camera work, very clean and well done, editing was great. 2nd... come on the reason 94%, like myself, of us watched this - hot babe on the front. The story line was a too cliche and followed to a predictable conclusion. Sorry. I liked the filming and editing, but you need a better story for the work.

I am new to the field of filmmaking so I can't comment on technique but I loved the way this video made me feel. It evoked feelings of vulnerability and fragileness... intimacy yet disconnection. I think I held my breath throughout the film. Absolutely stunning! I have to say that I disagree with Joe, I found the storyline raw and confronting, and the 'cliche' ending resonated within me as something familiar... something to relate to. Truly fantastic!
