Stop-motion animation of a new fine art photograph. My photos are still life dioramas created inside a light tent. This video was conceived and created from 2,100 separately shot and edited photographs *after* the actual gallery photo was shot. I then storyboarded the action and shot the animation in reverse to create the effect of the photograph "creating itself".
The entire production required about 8 weeks of work. The photo is on display from July 3 through July 30, 2010 at Pannikin Coffee & Tea in La Jolla, California, and is part of my third solo exhibition, Seven Signs of the Kewpie Apocalypse.
