Minnesota Meeting on Education Reform on June 10, 2010

On June 10, 2010, The Minneapolis Foundation brought together national and local community leaders for an insightful dialogue around the future of education in Minnesota at TPT studios in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The featured speaker was Alex Johnston, chief executive officer of ConnCAN, widely regarded as one of the nation’s leading state-level education reform organizations. Mr. Johnston has led ConnCAN’s effort to advocate for state policies that will ensure every Connecticut child has access to a great public school.

Following Mr. Johnston’s remarks was a panel discussion of local experts and audience questions of educational reform efforts in Minnesota.
