I was asked to contribute something to the group show 'Exhibition III', at Berlin's MMX gallery. Rather than bringing an existing project to the show I decided to work with the site directly.
On my first visit to MMX I became immediately fascinated with the textures and details of the gallery's internal (and somewhat rundown) courtyard.
I decided to record six imaginary interactions with the courtyard on my Canon HF10 which were then 'completed' using digital sculptural elements I inserted into the video stream.
The outcome was then exhibited in a large-format, HD video projection in a room immediately adjacent to the courtyard.
Big thanks to Mikael Brain for his help with all the hand-held camera shots.
