Justin, Chris, and I took a little back country expedition in Desolation Wilderness on July 12th & 13th, 2008. We parked at the trail head, located at Echo Lake just outside of South Lake Tahoe. Camped on Ralston Lake at 7,700 feet on Saturday and hiked up to the top of Ralston Peak at 9,235 feet on Sunday.
