    makes me want to convert to XSI pronto!
  • Perry Harovas 1 year ago
    I did about 6 years ago, and have loved (almost) every minute of it.
  • Andy Moorer 1 year ago
    same here... When I use Maya in production I am constantly struck by how much Maya people are missing, and mostly because they fear having to learn a new app.
  • I may not convert fully, but I may add it to the arsenal.
  •
  • destruct007 plus 1 year ago
    WWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWW! Amazing! Wow argh my head hurts! too cool. Maya port! Maya Port! Maya Port! or Houdini, or at least 3ds Port!
    ...Or I will have to learn XSI for this!
  • DoF 1 year ago
    destruct, you won't regret buying a seat of Softimage. I suggest you do so ASAP - SI is *SO* far ahead of Maya & Max it's not even funny. Drop those tired, clunky old skool apps and get on board the SI bullet train!

    Tiago & ICE . You win. top of the world!!

    // Comment for Korean.
    한국에선 일부 블로그에 이것이 게임용 물리엔진이라고 잘못 알고 계신분들이 많네요.
    Thiago가 만든 Lagoa는 소프트이미지라는 3D제작툴에서 쓸 수 있는 ICE기반의 시뮬레이션 기능입니다.

    "Maya port?" Without the underlying ICE structure, might be tricky. It would have to be completely recoded to work with the Nucleus framework. ICE is really what makes Softimage really unique. Totally different animal. How about the end, "Rendered in Arnold"? Is this going to come available soon to the public?

    Probably 2011. Most people develop new tools on the latest version. Not to say it wouldn't be backward compatible. :)
