Now celebrating 30 years, this maverick orchestra has been widely acclaimed by The New York Times and others. Six CDs—one a Grammy nominee—have furthered Riverside Symphony’s reputation in international circles. Since 1999, Riverside has sponsored Music Memory, a dynamic and widely valued music education program serving an average of 8,000 New York City school children from neighborhoods of limited access throughout the five boroughs.
