Last summer 5 friends and I drove from the New Hampshire Coast, out to the Washington Coast, down into California, and then back again in a vegetable oil powered van, hitting up every cement park we could find. We burned close to 700 gallons of used oil that we got for free from restaurants along the way, and only spent around $50 on diesel fuel!
