Have YOU always wanted to learn sign language? Well… here’s your chance to learn it in a fun and interactive way with RISE AND SIGN WITH CJ JONES. Each week we’ll follow CJ around as he prepares for day-to-day situations. 

Not only will you learn American Sign Language, but you’ll have an awesome opportunity to learn about and understand deaf and hard of hearing culture---the community, its rich history, technology and diversity. American Sign Language (ASL) is a manual language expressed with combinations of hand shapes, palm orientations, movements of the hands, arms and body, location in relation to the body, and facial expressions. ASL is linguistically complete language in visual form and has its own vocabulary, idioms, grammar, & syntax. Although ASL is not a universal language it is said to be the 4th most commonly used language in the United States.
