Crochetdermist Shauna Richardson is in the process of creating three lions for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Each lion takes seven months to make and uses approximately eighty kilos of Swaledale wool.

When completed, the twenty five foot lions will prowl the country before returning to the east midlands.
