7/15/08 This was not even CLOSE to how hot it really got. So many folks were on the beach unloading fish from their nets that the water was nearly empty of dippers at times. Doubles and even a triple here and there. Non-Stop for several hours into High Tide and several hours on the drop. Then DEAD.

7/16 5PM - Kasilof dipping this afternoon was OK but not like Tuesday. New ADFG Emergency Orders to expand dipping to highway bridge and raise sport limit to six fish....beginning 0001 Thursday, July 17.

On the Kenai, dipping on Tuesday was very good. Beach and boats...what few there were...did very well. No word on Wednesday dipping but there were no commfish nets in the water today so there should have been good dipping today.
