Lately, I've been considering cropping my videos to a more cinematic aspect ratio. When I realized how easy it is to do using FCP and Compressor, I had to try it out. At first, I was thinking 2.35:1, but later decided on an even more drastic approach. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but I think it looks pretty cool.
