Two North Carolina designers and entrepreneurs are on a mission to help revitalize the garment industry in NC, one pair of REALLY COOL jeans at a time.

Sarah and Victor Lytvinenko are the Brains and the Beauty behind Raleigh Denim, and they are definitely turning heads.

Excellent video! Good to see quality selvage jeans being made in the US, using Cone Mills denim.

i wonder when they are gonna start outsourcing their production in order to gain more profit.

Hiya Brinhold - thanks for watching. I doubt the folks at Raleigh Denim will ever outsource their production in order to gain more profit. They are going for the triple bottom line approach: social, economic and environmental sustainability to balance the 3 Ps: profit, people and planet. And it's working!

Why are the finished jeans wrapped in a plastic bag?? They just get torn out of the bag by the retailer and placed on a shelf. I realize it's probably for protection during shipping but couldn't they use something other than plastic?

They had me until the part about taking money that was taken by force by the government from other hardworking citizens aka "stimulus".

I wonder how many other entrepreneurs were not able to open, or expand or had to close up shop because of the money taken away from them by the government to be given to someone else.

    What a shame.
