I finally got round to doing the portrait of johnbmx4christ that I said I would do for this project:
vimeo.com/forums/topic:945

Unfortunately my camera slipped after I set it up without me noticing, so it's not very central. However, my batteries ran out about half way through, so when I changed them over I got it lined up a bit better.

My fat head keeps getting in the way at the begining - it's almost like I was trying to see what I was drawing or something - but anyway, here it is, I hope you like it John. I changed it slightly after I finished filming, but I have included the final picture at the end.

Hmmm, I'm begining to think I shaded him in a bit too much!

Haha, my camera always makes things a lot darker than they are, but I guess you can see that when I show the final picture at the end.

    Thanks.

The "Excuses" were mainly about the camera positioning, but I guess you can see it alright :)

Nice job man. Have you done caricature work on the side at all?

I really dug the song too.
  • Buck Flashroy 2 years ago
Haha, no! I just have drawing as a hobby. I haven't done any in literally years because I've been doing other stuff I guess. Like I told Janie ^ this was actually the first time I attempted this style of drawing. It's fun to do though, so I might try some more :)
