'Impossible Nation' sees the National Galleries of Scotland's Outreach Team join forces with the Travelling Gallery to take a riotous visual collage of twisted national identity on tour around Scotland.
The follow up to 2009's Scottish National Portrait Gallery exhibition, 'Rough Cut Nation', this explosion of images reveals a contemporary narrative of the Scottish nation, reconfiguring key figures and events to form an alternative and inclusive re-description of the nation’s story.
