Mukul Patil & Pallavi Golla - Documentary Sangeet & South Indian Highlights
1 year ago
On July 16, 2010, Mukul and Pallavi held their Mehndi & Sangeet at the very beautiful St. Regis Resort & Hotel located in Dana Point, off the Southern California coast. Taking place on a nice summer evening, guests were entertained with the finest mendhi, music, dancing and food. The events held at the hotel, one of the finest venues in all of California, were most definitely memorable for all the guests who were lucky to attend. Working side-by-side with some of the best vendors that the wedding industry has to offer made the experience that much more rewarding for Robles Video. Furthermore, the couple was an absolute joy to work with and made the events so much fun to cover.
The following day, their family and friends returned for the wedding ceremony and reception. The events on this ceremonial day took place between the architecturally supreme columns at the hotel situated next to the sprawling grand lawn. The South Hindu ceremony could not have taken place at a more picture-perfect venue as I am sure that both Mukul & Pallavi will remember this joyous day for the rest of their lives.
We shot this wedding in a "Documentary" editing style and equipment (Sony HDV-1080i). Unlike the "Cinematic" style, this style of shooting and editing is more traditional. These shot's were extracted from their full reel video, versus the "Cinematic" where we shot specifically for the highlight.
Vendors: Robles Video Productions (roblesvideo.com), Photography by Francine Young, Decor by PinkRock Events, DJ by Deejay Rishi, Mehndi & makeup provided by Beauty by Lishma, Flowers provided bu Shirvan Designs
Music: "Mehndi Laga Ke Rakha" by Dilwale Duhhania Le Jayenge, "Latika's theme" from Slumdog Millionairre, "Tere Bina" from Guru, "Mauja Hi Mauja" by Jab We Met.
