52. Navy divers explore Sea Tiger wreck off coast of Hawaii

PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII (July 11, 2008)-U.S. Navy divers from Mobile Underwater Diving Salvage Unit One (MUDSU-1) and Australian divers from Australian Clearance Diving Team 4 (AUSCDT 4) from Perth, Australia dive to the SEA TIGER wreck off the shores of Wikiki, Hawaii. This dive was used to acquaint each country with the other’s diving procedures and depth tables during the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2008 exercise. The U.S. and Australian divers will be conducting joint operations throughout RIMPAC. RIMPAC, the world’s largest multinational exercise, is scheduled biennially by U.S. Pacific Fleet and takes place in the Hawaiian operating area during 29 June – 31 July 2008. Participants include Australia, Canada, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom and the U.S. U.S Navy Video by Mass Communications Specialist 2nd Class Walter Pels (Released)
