A month or so before the event, all the performers were asked to write a single bar of music (with 16 beats I think), and concoct from it a performance that would prolong, and go well with the essence of that bar.
People explored things like recitation, randomness, presence, disharmony, expansion, compression, experience, interaction, and other relevant traits of musical performance.
