The Social Studio is a not-for-profit social enterprise where clothing is created from the style and skills of the young refugee community using recycled and excess manufacturing materials which are gathered from local industry and re-configured into original clothing.

We're very proud to launch our first pedal powered pop-up shops which are now peddling clothes in the city of Melbourne.

The pop-up shops were designed and built by RMIT Industrial and Interior design students and were exhibited at the State of Design festival.

Each bike will create retail jobs and training and the sale of the clothes will generate further employment and training at The Social Studio.
