Summer Apartment
WHO: You.
WHAT: Studio Apartment.
WHEN: Available August 1, 2008. One year lease.
WHERE: The heart of Foggy Bottom. "The President" apartment building. On GWU "campus." One block from Foggy Bottom Orange Line Metro. Walking distance to Trader Joe's yummy food. Jogging distance to National Mall and Georgetown. Stones throw distance from White House, though I would not advise you to actually throw stones at said building.
WHY: For this low monthly price (utilities not included), you'll get your very own private and spacious studio apartment. The building features the luxury of a friendly front desk, and a laundry room. The neighborhood is safe. Apartment comes partially furnished, and if you would like, a personalized map of my favorite restaurants, bars, etc. within a 10 block radius.
HOW: Email me if you would like to see the apartment. There is a move-in fee of about $100, and the landlord will require some paperwork.
PICTURE: Sure, the picture below will likely not be published in the likes of Dwell, Wallpaper, or Washingtonian; however, it's an accurate reflection of the spartan surroundings I found when I moved into this sublet a few weeks ago.
