This is a new version of Dart Throwing with weight map control for spacing (spacing maps) and point deletion (erase maps). It uses it's own internal scheme for computing the barycentric weights from weight map values at vertices. Spacing maps allow you to modulate the density of the points using the weight map as an interpolant between the spacing radius and max spacing radius. Erase maps have a threshold parameter which lets you control at what point between 0 and 1 on the weight map the point should be deleted.

Nice! Adding the interpolation of the weight map is great, you might even want to break that into it's own compound.

Thanks, Andy. Is there anything specifically you had in mind for the weight map interpolation compound? It was more of a workaround for the fact that geometry access in a custom ice node doesn't provide a method to interpolate data from points. In all other circumstances, locators do a fine job....

    Thanks Julian. Awesome tool....very useful.
How do I use the size ouput. I get a structure mismatch error when I try to plug it into my set point size node?

    Well done, and thanks again.

Werner - the size output is an array of sizes. To use per particle just use the select in array node using the particle ID as in the index. i.e. ID 0 will select size 0, ID 1 will select size 1, etc...

a-haaa that makes sense. Thanks Julian.
