About the film

Two girls, Katie (Katie Shim) and Miranda (Joy Wong) are inseperable. Katie is a 9 year old girl who is a social outcast in school due her wild and often dubbed strange imagination. Her imaginary friend, Miranda, guides Katie through her imagination. However all this changes when Miranda goes missing.

Behind the film

I began "Imaginary" in the summer of 2009. It's taken it almost a year to finally be completed. It's been a wonderful experience and I am absolutely thankful for the people who have been supporting during the course of the project. It was my very very first short film and I've definitely learnt a lot. I'll be uploading a video soon on the Imaginary YouTube channel (youtube.com/imaginarythefilm) that will explain the experience more in depth.
