On Sat., July 24, work began at Banneker Elementary in the Kansas City, Mo. School District. The second annual Hands of Hope event brings together local churches, businesses and the community to paint, clean and beautify schools.
On Aug. 7, there will be 27 more schools participating in Hands of Hope. Banneker Elementary is a LINC Caring Communities site as are many of the other schools benefitting from the effort.
