Our son, Dominic Angelo Alberico was born 5 days ago, 7/13/08 at 5:56am. He measured 20.5" and weighed 9 lbs.

His mother, Lori labored for nearly 27 hours before it was determined that he couldn't come out naturally and was to be born via Cesarean.

Though this news was disappointing it was also a relief to know he would arrive safe and healthy very soon. When looking at him now the whole process (nearly a year from start to birth) is so very worth the wait!

Here is a video montage of some of the many clips I've taken of him in the last 5 days. He is a generally happy baby and so darn cute to look at!
