I filmed this on the 16th July when I bought the camera. Most of it was filmed at 25x digital zoom as I wanted to test it out. It has it's uses I suppose but I'll stick to the 10x optical most of the time!

Sorry for the camera shake. The OIS at 25x handheld is never going to be very good, but with the wind buffeting my hand as well I was really struggling!

I also had a look at the pointless 700x digital - but let's not go there :o)

My PC can't really handle the HD editing and I get crashes in Sony Vegas and Ulead Video Studio so I ended up converting without editing.

The original AVCHD was 1080i. Then used TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress to convert to H.264 720p for Vimeo.

Not sure exactly what the wind speed was but I'll bet the passengers had a fun time. The pilots will be pretty used to it when coming into LBA though!
