Yeah it was good, and almost got washed out myself middle of the video is actually water that almost covered me so I quickly jumped on the rocks.

It is the combination of the 2. I got pretty close almost in the water couple of times :) and the breaks are close as well so with the full zoom I got fairly close shots, If i had the tele converter I would have propably got Mid shots but I didn't have my bag of lenses/filters with me.

Used Avid. Colour correct is really not that time consuming just practice a bit and you'll get the hang of it, if you can get "Color" added on to FCP from what I hear its brilliant.

I exported as a wmv straight out of Avid. I know a lot of people prefer Quicktime but I find it easier to get to wmv.

Thanks Geoff, I don't know how to surf so another one on my list of things to do, but certainly wouldn't start at Bells thats for sure, I've swam at Phillip Island South beach in middle of summer 40C and the water was about 17-19C so couldn't imagine how bad winter would be.
