Mina Zunac was 20 years old during the 1995 bombing of Zagreb. She was injured by a submunition on the street in the centre of city while going to the bank. She reported extensive injuries to the right side of her body.
“Clustermunitions were designed formilitary purposes but their effects aremuch bigger. Civilians are dying
a long time after the war has come to an end. I don’t see anymilitary purpose in that, and that is why cluster
munitions should be banned forever,” said Zunac.
Now, 36 years old, Mina lives in Zagreb and works as a web administrator for a publishing house. She participated in the Zagreb workshop on cluster munitions in October 2008 and will join the Ban Advocates for the first time in Oslo in December 2008.
