In December, 2009, I visited the city of Lviv (L'vov), Ukraine where the company I work is headquartered. It was my first trip to Ukraine, coming from the United States. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect. The moment I stepped off of the airplane, I was shocked at the cities hidden beauty - so much so that I created this video to show the world what a gem this place was.

Lviv is the capital of Western Ukraine. The city is rich in history. Recently, Lviv celebrated its 750th anniversary. For more than seven centuries, it has escaped being bombed, burned and destroyed by its many occupiers, the most recent being the former Soviet Union. When Ukraine gained it's independence, the world started to be re-discover Lviv. It is now a U.N. World Heritage Site. In 2012, Lviv will become one of the sites for the EURO 2012 Football (Soccer) games.

I hope you find this historic city as beautiful as I did.

Enjoy.
