The first and second shots have some subtle Curves adjustments done in Adobe After Effects. The first clip actually has a holdout mask over the Clock Tower, to make it a bit less dark without destroying the contrast of the sky. The 3rd clip actually doesn't have any color correction done to it at all. I was just careful when I shot it with the settings on the camera, because I was going directly to jpegs in order to save space.

All three shots were cool, and I like your use of the mask in the first - something I should do sometime. Hope you do more like this :)
