Within the Indigenous cultures of the Pacific region and specifically to the islands of Samoa the concept of talanoa is a process of finding mutual ground based on exchange of ideas. Talanoa: Walk the Talk is an on-going performance art project conceived by Artist Shigeyuki Kihara, which brings together diverse ethnic and religious grass roots communities across New Zealand and Australia into an intercultural dialogue through music and dance.
