In many cultures, The Astral Man or The Cosmic Man is a symbolic representation of the human potentiality for wholeness. The concept, seen as a symbol of Self, has often been represented by a white male human being.

In "The Astral Woman" I have taken this strong and meaningful concept and replaced the white masculine image with a dark feminine one.
