I can't say I knew my grandfather very well. At a young age I immigrated to Australia and had very few memories. However, of the memories that I do have, gramps was awesome. I remember once when he visited us in Sydney, we played a particular board game. I would throw kiddy tantrums upon losing and gramps would take it gracefully, allowing me to 'win'.

Gramps lived a full life. He was not without flaws. He was human after all. Gramps served God to his fullest. And it was not until his funeral did I learn of the many things he did.

You'll be missed gramps. But you've gone to a better place without sorrow or suffering.

This sunrise, is for you.
