SYNOPSIS
A chance encounter in Venice, maybe a vision: a woman, her eyes filled with sorrow. Davide can't forget that woman. He paints portraits of her, he dreams of her, he can even hear her voice... That woman rapidly becomes a haunting presence in his life, a whirlwind of images, sounds and memories he doesn't recognize, a mysterious melody… Davide sinks into a hallucinatory state which rapidly shatters his perception of himself, and compels him to search in anguish into a past of he isn't aware. A strong and intense love bond surfaces from the past: a bond brutally severed by the war, but never ceased. Now Davide knows.

This is an experimental film: for its research into the evocative power of sound and for the shooting (in 2009) using exclusively Canon EOS 5D Mark II in Full HD. An independent project by Luigi Alberton.
